To all my friends who have read and sent messages to my CarePage I thank you for your continued support.
Physical Therapy is going well and I am getting stronger each day. But boy am I tired the day after. Each day Kim (my PT) has me do more. She is just great.
Since I was turned down for the stem cell transplant and there is no program other than Chicago I am now looking into a lung transplant. I have met with one of the doctors here in NJ and will be meeting with the surgeon next week. We are hoping and praying that they will accept me in the transplant program. I must be very physically strong in order to have the transplant. I am working hard toward that goal.

Dear Gary and Peter,
I was profoundly saddened to find out about Michele's untimely passing. I see by the blog that I happend to discover online that Michele had battled Scleroderma valiantly and bravely for 3 years. Although Michele and I had not seen each other since I was a teenager, we had communicated for a period of time after my Mother passed away and Burt passed away. I know that Michele must have been a loving and vibrant woman and I am sorry we were not closer. Again, please accept my sincere condolences and my heartfelt sympathy to you both and to her children and grandchildren as well.
